Interviewer: Lukas, congratulations on the success of Sunhat and the recent extension of your Seed round. Can you share more details about how Sunhat's platform addresses the specific challenges that companies face in managing sustainability data?

Lukas: Sure. Sunhat addresses the daily challenges of corporate sustainability experts that are forced to answer tons of different questions from external stakeholders. Thus, the first step toward realizing our vision was to streamline the process of answering questions – it's as simple as that.

Interviewer: You mentioned AI-powered technology. Can you elaborate on how Sunhat's AI capabilities contribute to the efficiency of sustainability data management?

Lukas: Our AI approach involves leveraging a trained Natural Language Processing (NLP) model to comprehensively understand and align stakeholder requirements with both quantitative and qualitative metrics. For instance, this could entail interpreting a customer's request regarding environmental management and providing a response in natural language alongside a table of key performance indicators (KPIs). By implementing this approach, we significantly reduce the time spent on this process by over 50% while significantly improving the quality of responses.

Interviewer: Looking ahead, what are Sunhat's long-term goals in contributing to the sustainability transformation in businesses?

Lukas: Today, we already empower hundreds of well-trained experts in the process of request management, aiming to become the operating system for their day-to-day work. We believe that the time we save is critical to enable our experts to push forward necessary actions to drive sustainability transformation within the organization.
